Under red bulbs she comes undone

Red bulbs do most of the work, throwing a rose wash across the walls and turning her skin darkroom-warm. She arrives dressed, briefly: straps slide off the shoulder, fabric pools at the waist, and the light finds the line of her hip each time she shifts on the bed.

Colour this saturated usually flattens a body. Here it carves shadow under the ribs and along one thigh, and the camera stays still enough to let that happen. She knows precisely what the red glamour is doing to her, and plays straight into it.
