Kayla Kapoor turns her bedroom into a stage

Kayla Kapoor begins clothed and stays that way a while, kneeling on the bed, shifting her weight, glancing down at herself between movements. What comes off, comes off in pieces rather than all at once. By the time she settles back against the pillows, her hands have already found their way lower and stayed there.

Bedroom light does most of the work, soft and slightly uneven, with the room left as it actually is. She plays to one person rather than a crowd, which changes the register entirely: quieter, closer, more like being let in than being sold something.
