A vintage strip against a red couch

Ashley Lawrence has a small set to herself: a blue wall, a framed mirror, a deep red couch pushed in behind her. The army-styled outfit comes apart in stages until only black stockings remain, and she keeps moving between each piece, turning on the spot, hand resting at her hip as she checks the lens.

Soft tape grain and flat studio light date the whole thing, and that works in its favour. She plays to the camera the way glamour shoots of that era taught her to, holding a pose a beat longer than strictly needed, entirely at ease with being looked at.
