Sneha works her saree loose at home

Sneha stands a step back from the phone and pulls the drape of her saree loose, letting the fabric slip off one shoulder and fall. A yellow bra is all that waits underneath. She turns side on, glances down to check the frame, and keeps going until the cloth is bunched low around her hips.

Nothing in the room has been arranged for this. Household light, a cropped frame that cuts above the neck, and hands doing the only real work in the shot. A homemade saree strip carries a plainness that studio sets tend to polish away, and that is its appeal.
