Unwrapping a saree for the camera

She starts fully wrapped, one hand loosening the pleats of her saree while the other steadies the camera. The fabric comes away in lengths rather than in a single motion, blouse next, and the last of it pools somewhere out of frame. What follows is a plain, direct nude show for the lens.

Filmed at home on a webcam, so the resolution is soft and the framing wobbles a little. That works in its favour. A saree striptease has a built-in rhythm, all those metres of cloth, and she lets the material do the work before she stands back to be looked at.
