She works through a routine on a pale couch, black jacket hanging open, sheer stockings held high on the thigh, heels staying on from the first beat to the last. The dance does the undressing: a shoulder freed on one turn, the lingerie beneath edged aside on the next, nothing removed that the music has not already loosened.
